Avionics System Engineer | 4 years To 9 Years | Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Support avionics system engineering activities for Airbus helicopter programs (H145, H160, H175).
- Prepare, review, update, and maintain technical documentation within Airbus systems, including:
- Technical Notes (TN)
- Operational Problem Reports (OPRs)
- Board Change Requests (BCRs)
- System Design Descriptions (SDDs)
- Operational Limitations documentation
- Perform and support:
- Supplemental Change Management
- FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)
- Coverage Matrix creation and maintenance
- IRS checks, including SSDD checks
- Helionix System Configuration Index (SysCI) activities
- Avionics System Configuration Index (SysCI) activities
- Ensure documentation quality, traceability, and compliance with Airbus processes and standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office teams supporting Airbus architects and certification activities.
- Provide documentation support required for obtaining CVE approvals and signatures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–9 years of experience in Avionics System Engineering or Aircraft Systems Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of helicopter avionics systems and aircraft systems.
- Hands-on experience with avionics engineering documentation, including:
- System Design Descriptions (SDDs)
- Technical Notes (TNs)
- Operational Limitations
- System engineering deliverables and reports
- Experience in:
- FMECA
- Change Management
- Coverage Matrices
- Requirements verification and validation
- System configuration management activities
- Familiarity with Airbus processes, tools, and documentation standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Fluent English communication skills (B2/C1 level).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Airbus helicopter platforms such as H145, H160, or H175.
- Exposure to Helionix avionics systems.
- Understanding of aircraft certification and compliance processes.
- Prior experience working in a global aerospace engineering environment.
