Avaloq Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications within the Avaloq system.

Collaborate with stakeholders including business users, developers, and testers to ensure accurate understanding and delivery of solutions.

Conduct gap analysis and propose Avaloq parameterization or customization solutions.

Support system configuration, testing, and implementation of new functionalities or change requests.

Document business processes, functional specifications, and solution designs.

Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide production support as needed.

Work closely with Avaloq developers and parameterization teams to ensure business requirements are implemented accurately.

Ensure compliance with banking standards, data privacy, and security policies.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and system enhancements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Avaloq projects (development, parameterization, or implementation).

Strong understanding of Avaloq Core Banking platform – modules such as Payments, Securities, CRM, Accounting, or Treasury preferred.

Proficiency in business process mapping, requirement analysis, and functional documentation.

Experience with Avaloq parameterization (customisation, workflows, or static data setup) is a plus.

Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in agile or hybrid delivery environments
