Position Overview : We are looking for Automation QA Test Lead having good experience in Java selenium , Rest API testing . Prior experience in handling a team as well
Responsibilities
- Hands on years of experience into Design and implement automated tests for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
- Create and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API projects.
- Experience in API Testing & API Automation & Good knowledge of Postman / RestAssured/karate (any one the rest can be trained if not available)
- Expected to be proficient in one of the test BDD frameworks Cucumber.
- Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins knowledge
- Experience in enhancing & developing of API/Web Service automation framework.
- Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with Atlassian s Jira & any Test management tools
- Execute test cases and report defects in a timely manner.
- Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
- Strong ability to perform functional integration testing of all integration points between the applications, components, and services
- Perform end-to-end manual testing where features and user stories are tested in their entirety
- Identify and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the product meets the requirements and is of high quality.
- Participate in product demos and release reviews.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay current with new testing tools and technologies.

- Functional Requirement Gathering: Min 8 years
- Selenium BDD Automation: Min 8+ years
- Cucumber: Min 4+ years
- Core Java: Min 6 +Years
- API automation: Min 4 years (Karate, rest assured)
- GIT: Min 1 year
Other-skills:
- Automation Framework Implementation: Min 5 year
- Gradle/maven: Min 5 years
- Jenkins: Min 4 years
- Postman: Min 2 years
- Database Testing: 2 Years
Nice to have:
- Mobile Automation (Appium, Calabash..etc): Min 2 years
- Karate API Framework Knowledge
- Experience in Splunk: Min 1 year
