Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 1.5 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, Java Selenium, and performance testing, with additional knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes being a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Rest Assured for API testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Selenium.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis, preferably using JMeter.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test plans.
- Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work on the Linux platform to set up and manage test environments.
- (Good to have) Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Required Skills
- API Testing: Proficient in using Rest Assured jars for API testing.
- Automation Testing: Strong experience with Java Selenium.
- Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools, preferably JMeter.
- Linux: Experience working on the Linux platform.
- Kubernetes: Basic understanding and experience with Kubernetes (good to have).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1.5 to 3 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
