We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Australian Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Australian taxation, compliance, and accounting standards, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review Australian individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with ATO (Australian Taxation Office) regulations and filing deadlines.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in BAS, GST, and payroll tax preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding tax queries and documentation.
- Stay updated with changes in Australian tax laws and accounting practices.
Key Skills :
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 23 years of relevant experience in Australian taxation.
