Role Description The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing audit engagements from planning to completion. This role includes leading audit teams, reviewing work papers, and ensuring audits of financial statements comply with applicable standards and firm policies. The Audit Manager will coordinate with clients to understand business processes, assess risks, and propose improvements in internal controls and financial reporting. The role involves supervising staff, providing technical guidance, managing timelines and budgets, and preparing clear audit reports and presentations for client management. The Audit Manager will also contribute to training, methodology enhancements, and quality control initiatives within the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
- Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Audits, including planning, execution, and review of audit procedures.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify risks, and draw sound conclusions for audit findings.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent, with prior experience in external audit and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, client management, and report-writing skills, with proficiency in audit and office software.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and mentor junior team members in a structured audit environment.
