Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role based in Ludhiana. The Audiologist will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and other diagnostic tests, using advanced equipment and standardized protocols. The role involves interpreting diagnostic results, recommending appropriate interventions, and fitting, programming, and verifying hearing aids and related devices to ensure optimal outcomes. The Audiologist will provide patient counseling, educate individuals and families on hearing health and device use, and collaborate with speech therapists and other clinical professionals to support integrated care pathways. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to evidence-based practices, participating in case discussions and training, and supporting ongoing aftercare and follow-up services.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or Speech and Hearing, with appropriate professional licensing or registration as required.
  • Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, hearing aid fitting and verification, rehabilitation planning, and interpretation of diagnostic test results.
  • Ability to follow evidence-based protocols, utilize advanced diagnostic technology, and work within structured care pathways to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills to educate and support patients and families, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, adapt to technology-enabled workflows, and maintain accurate, compliant clinical records.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, openness to training on new tools and techniques, and willingness to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prior experience in hospital or clinic-based audiology practice, and familiarity with speech and allied health services, is an advantage.
