Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Audio Visual (AV) Operating Engineer to manage, operate, and maintain our organization's AV systems including displays, projectors, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and LED walls. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations of AV equipment for meetings, events, and training sessions, while also providing technical support and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage AV systems during meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Perform regular checks of commercial displays, projectors, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and LED walls.
  • Provide on-site technical support for end-users, ensuring seamless AV experience.
  • Handle installation, configuration, and testing of AV equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors / OEMs for service calls, warranty support, and spare part replacements.
  • Maintain AV inventory, service logs, and preventive maintenance reports.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to AV systems.
  • Ensure proper cable management, system calibration, and equipment hygiene.
  • Assist in upgrades, new deployments, and training of users on AV systems.
  • Ensure all AV systems are compliant with company IT and security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
  • 24 years of hands-on experience in AV operations / maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Poly, Logitech, Crestron, etc.).
  • Experience with AV signal flow, HDMI, DisplayPort, networking basics (LAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Ability to handle troubleshooting of displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, DSPs, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts / extended hours during events if required.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
  • Experience in corporate AV environments (MNCs, IT parks, or large campuses).
  • Basic understanding of network AV solutions (AV over IP, NDI, Dante, etc.).
