Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled Audio Development Engineer to become a part of our dynamic team based in Hyderabad. In this vital role, you will take charge of designing, engineering, refining, and implementing effective audio applications tailored for IoT platforms.
Main Duties
- Engineer and enhance audio functionalities specifically for IoT solutions
- Work in collaboration with cross-departmental teams to create, execute, and troubleshoot multimedia functionalities for mobile devices
- Innovate and fine-tune audio algorithms suited for embedded systems
- Ensure adherence to specifications for audio and video file formats (such as MP4, WebM, AVI, TS, AAC, AC3, and MP3)
- Engage with multimedia frameworks including Android Audio Framework, Gstreamer, and PulseAudio
- Conduct testing and debugging of audio functionalities on embedded systems utilizing tools like Alsa/Audio HAL
Qualifications
- Proficient skills in C/C++ programming alongside understanding of multithreading and fundamental OS principles
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of audio and video file format specifications
- Familiarity with multimedia frameworks like Android Audio Framework, Gstreamer, and PulseAudio
- Hands-on experience with Alsa/Audio HAL and proficient testing/debugging techniques on embedded platforms
- Awareness of audio specifications including AAC, AC3, HDMI, and SPDIF
