ATA - Java, Python, AWS

Job Description:
Tavant Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated software engineer with expertise in Java, Python, and AWS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing software applications that leverage cloud technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement software that meets the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and high-performance software applications using Java and Python.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement cloud solutions using AWS services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Document software designs, processes, and workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Tools:

• Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Version control systems like Git.
• Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Monitoring and logging tools for cloud applications.
