Job Description

Role Purpose:

Manage and coordinate the Planning & Performance to enable delivery of timely and accurate management reporting which will assist in decision making. The role will support departments and group companies with the necessary analytics as required. The role will support development and implementation of value-add planning and analysis tools, in addition the role is responsible for the continuous improvement on process and system of FP&A activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Reporting:

  • Develop and implement effective management reporting and analysis
  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly and weekly flash reports and ensure integrity of data
  • Review actuals against budgets/forecasts and highlight anomalies to drive future financial performance
  • Measure key KPIs and performance drivers of business
  • Identify effective overhead and working capital reporting/analysis to drive productivity
  • Coordinate, review and distribute weekly reports, flash reporting, Reporting Packs and analysis to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with rollout and implementation of consistent and unified reporting across group companies

Business Partnering and Support:

  • Partner with senior management to drive growth
  • Support building new go to market models
  • Enhance the execution rhythm across businesses leveraging digital tools and periodic reviews enabling faster execution
  • Ensure tight fiscal discipline - control discretionary spends & driving value from investments
  • Drive bottom line discipline by robust processes around leakages
  • Scenario analysis for various expansion/ diversification/ capital projects

Governance:

  • Ensure appropriate accountability and performance standards are met and maintain high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Maintain high quality of presentation, clarification, and accuracy with all information disseminated
  • Highlight and manage risk by providing an independent assessment of the health of the business
  • Ensure the necessary review and pressure testing of presented information for budgets, forecast, monthly and weekly information is conducted before issuing to the necessary stakeholders.

Support:

  • Liaise with Subsidiary Finance Managers in the budgeting, forecasting, monthly and weekly reporting process
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to key stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audit processes

Continuous Improvement:

  • Leverage AI and Data Analytics to drive productivity and improve reporting rigor
  • Invest time to improve systems and FP&A activities to focus on automating activities / processes
  • Identify improvement and productivity in processes, improving quality whilst reducing cycle time
  • Develop new reporting models to support business requirements for scalable businesses

Job Specific Requirements:

  • CA with 3 to 4 years experience across FP&A and Business/Commercial Finance
  • Experience in a large manufacturing company (similar industry/sector is advantageous)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP (S4 Hana preferred)
  • Location: Goa
