Job Description

Department and Reporting Structure:
Department: Food and Beverage
Reporting To: Deputy F&B Manager, F&B Manager
Purpose and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the administration and smooth operations of all Food and Beverage outlets within the hotel.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and maximizes profitability.
Guest Satisfaction:
Aims to achieve 100% guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional food and beverage service to restaurant guests.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Works closely with various departments to ensure seamless service:
Collaborates with Front Office for meal plan inclusions and F&B promotions.
Coordinates with Executive and Sous Chefs for timely food production.
Liaises with the Service Bar for the timely supply of beverages.
Ensures proper maintenance of soft furnishings, furniture, and restaurant equipment.
Reviews operating accounting reports and financial statements with the Accounts Department.
Advises the Sales Department on special promotions and campaigns related to F&B.
Additional Responsibilities:
Handles guest complaints and addresses grievances.
Negotiates, plans menus, coordinates, and bills for block/group dinners.
Monitors expenses, identifies cost areas, and implements measures for cost control.
Maintains service standards and promptly resolves guest issues.
Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
Keeps the Food and Beverage Manager informed of any challenges or alterations1.
Collaboration and Development:
Collaborates with the Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Director of Sales to:
Develop and implement F&B promotions, strategies, and special events.
Maintain optimum sales volume and achieve set sales objectives.
