About the Team:

The Store Merchandising team plays a key role in bringing physical experiences to life for Lowe's customers by striking a balance between data and design.

Job Summary:

As a Town/Urban Planner for Lowe's Store Merchandising, you will be responsible for managing store-specific adjacency space allocation and execution to deliver high-quality output within prescribed timelines. This role will require leveraging data to allocate appropriate space for various categories and assortments and ensuring seamless interaction between global and local project leads.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Store Specific Adjacency Plans & POGs:
• Develop and manage store-specific adjacency plans and Plan-O-Grams (POGs) using execution guidelines.
• Space Allocation:
• Use data to ensure the right space is allocated to the right category/assortment.
• Category & POG Decision-Making:
• Leverage business context, customer insights, and presentation architecture to determine category adjacencies and POGs.
• Data-Driven Decisions:
• Make informed decisions using data and context, with minimal guidance, to ensure the proper arrangement of stores and product categories.
• Project Execution:
• Deliver projects within set timelines while maintaining the expected level of quality.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work seamlessly with project leads, both locally and globally, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Team Goals:
• Focus on achieving team goals rather than individual goals, fostering a cooperative team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• UG: B.Com / BBM (Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business Management)
• PG: Any Postgraduate degree (optional)
• Experience:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a related field, with a focus on store or space planning.

Required Skills:

• Primary Skills (Must Have):
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to comprehend, articulate, and communicate effectively both locally and globally.
• Data Analysis: Ability to leverage data, information, and visuals to make informed decisions on a daily basis.
• Secondary Skills (Desired):
• Store Planning / Space Planning: Knowledge of macro and micro space planning.
• Retail Experience: Understanding of retail environments and their layout requirements.
