As a Private Equity Professional within our Private Equity Group (PEG) team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the PEG team in Mumbai, providing oversight and direction to team members.
  • Drive global investor relations initiatives in collaboration with international colleagues.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance client materials, including portfolio reviews and performance analytics.
  • Develop and update analytical models and Excel templates to support client and prospect requirements.
  • Liaise with information management, client service, and technology teams to streamline and automate client data and reporting.
  • Complete requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), due diligence questionnaires, and client/consultant questionnaires for current and prospective clients.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of marketing collateral, including pitchbooks, educational materials, and insights pieces.
  • Monitor industry databases and publications to gather relevant market, competitive, and environmental information.
  • Support the development and execution of organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide benchmarking analysis for clients.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all client-facing deliverables.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Possess 7 years of experience in private equity, finance, investor relations, data analytics, or accounting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel VBA/Python skills .
  • Display excellent organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Show analytical skills and financial modeling aptitude.
  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Utilize industry databases and publications (e.g., Pitchbook, Preqin, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor team members.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • CFA designation is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to global investor relations.
  • Familiarity with private equity industry trends and best practices.
