Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in Mumbai office.

Associate Director Transactional Services

  • Being bold in thinking and bringing innovative solutions to any barriers faced through the first 3- 6 months, you will be actively supported by your peers to help understand the ways of working

We will count on you for:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and implement process design strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project objectives.
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Utilize project management methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor project activities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics, and provide recommendations for further enhancements.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in process design, continuous improvement, and project management.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process design, continuous improvement, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools is highly desirable.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the non-life insurance and/or reinsurance domain is an added advantage.
