Associate Director - Performance Reporting (Change Management)

We are expecting Associate director to have deep Pension plan performance knowledge and leads complex change initiatives within the Investments Performance Reporting team, driving strategic process improvements and embedding a lean, agile culture. This role requires deep expertise in investment performance measurement, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
We will count on you for:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on investment performance methodologies, including TWRR, money-weighted returns (MWRR), attribution analysis, risk metrics, and private markets performance measures.
- Lead end-to-end change management projects focused on optimizing investment performance reporting processes.
- Apply advanced lean methodologies to redesign workflows, reduce waste, and enhance data quality and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align change strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in change management and investment reporting.
- Monitor change impact metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate complex change and performance insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with clients and onshore stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand Mercer's scope of work with clients.
- Lead onshore, joint onshore-offshore projects, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
- Communicate and showcase best practices implemented at Mercer across various forums to promote knowledge sharing.
- Proactively address client escalations and queries, working closely with the Account Management team to ensure timely resolution and maintain strong client relationships.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 14+ years of experience in change management, process improvement, or project management within investment performance reporting or asset management environments.
- Strong knowledge of investment performance measurement methodologies, risk analysis, and attribution techniques.
- Proven expertise in lean management, agile frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience with investment performance platforms (e.g., Eagle) and proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, VBA, Python, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
