As Real Estate Acquisitions, Research & Underwriting Professional within our RE Europe (REE) India - Research, Acquisition, and Asset Management Team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end acquisitions and research activities for Real Estate Europe (REE) funds.
  • Produce Europe-focused market and sector research (themes, supply-demand, rental/yield trends, capital markets, comps).
  • Build detailed underwriting models in Excel and Argus/Argus Enterprise, including DCF, NPV, IRR, MOIC, sensitivities, scenarios, and return attribution.
  • Audit underwriting models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and investment rationale.
  • Prepare income analysis and quick valuations for preliminary deal screening.
  • Update detailed Excel cash flow models to support comprehensive underwriting.
  • Analyze disposals and draft investment committee memos during asset sale processes.
  • Maintain comparable databases (transactions, leasing comps, market rents, operating benchmarks) to support pricing and underwriting assumptions.
  • Track portfolio-level and asset-level performance versus underwriting and identify key drivers for strategic reviews.
  • Contribute to fund/investor/lender materials including narratives, valuation summaries, market commentary, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders (property/technical managers, finance controllers, marketing) to deliver in a multi-cultural environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold an MBA/Master's Degree in Economics/Maths (or related stream) with strong academics and financial concentration.
  • Bring a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience from real estate, infrastructure, or consulting.
  • Demonstrate experience using third-party real estate research databases and broker portals (e.g., CBRE Erix, Oxford Economics, CoStar, MSCI Real Estate/RCA, Green Street, REIS/Moody's Analytics CRE).
  • Apply strong real estate valuation and financial modeling concepts.
  • Exhibit advanced MS Office proficiency with strong Excel skills (formulae, pivot tables, macros).
  • Communicate effectively with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Deliver well-developed written and quantitative analytical outputs.
  • Show a strong, long-term interest in real estate with high attention to detail.
  • Solve problems with strong partnership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Operate with an analytical bent of mind and a keen eye for detail.
  • Coordinate across teams to manage expectations and deliverables consistently.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Use Argus/Argus Enterprise for real estate underwriting and analysis.
  • Leverage understanding of European/global real estate markets to strengthen research and underwriting.
  • Apply German, French, or Italian language skills to support cross-regional collaboration.
