We are seeking an accomplished and seasoned Field Collections leader to drive and manage our pan-India field collections operations. The AVP Field Collections will play a pivotal role in leading a large and geographically diverse team, ensuring high performance, compliance, and operational excellence across all collection activities within the Banking and NBFC sectors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and oversee pan-India field collections operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Team Management: Manage a large-scale field team of 700+ Field Officers/Collection Representatives (FOS/CREs) across North, South, East, and West India regions. Drive team productivity, efficiency, and adherence to collection targets.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor and control daily collection activities, track KPIs, and implement corrective action plans for underperforming zones. Ensure timely resolution of escalations and maintain quality standards across processes.
- Performance & Risk Management: Analyze collection performance metrics, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate operational and credit risks. Maintain a strong focus on compliance, data accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and business partners, to ensure seamless operations and service delivery. Provide insights, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and clients as required.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with tele-collections teams, credit, risk, and operations to optimize overall collection performance and recovery rates.
- Travel: Regular travel to various states and regions to monitor field activities, conduct reviews, and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
Work experience:
- 1520 years of total experience exclusively in Field Collections within the Banking and NBFC sectors.
- Proven track record of managing large, geographically dispersed field teams.
- Demonstrated experience in handling 700+ FOS/CREs with Pan-India operational oversight.
- Must have managed teams across North, South, East, and West India regions.
- Strong command of English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reporting and analytics
