Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in New Delhi for an Assistant Sales Manager. The role involves day-to-day sales activities and supporting the sales team in driving revenue and achieving targets.
- Handling key existing accounts
- To organize, direct and control sales activities for the verticals assigned
- To achieve medium and short term commercial results as expressed in volumes and value of business.
- To add new business lines in line of new products
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Within the Sales & Marketing strategy plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control all managerial activities
related to the business (sales, sales support, organization, marketing, logistics, product demonstrations/ trainings)
in order to achieve the short and long term commercial objectives while complying with laws, rules and
regulations:
2. In conjunction with the overall objective define the Commercial and Marketing strategy and put in place action
programs to maximize volumes, sales margins and customer profitability.
3. Actively participate in developing and maintaining new and existing customer relationships
4. Assure continuous up-to-date knowledge in own field and act as advisor (make interpretations, support other
management functions)
5. Ensure that own proposals for market and product development are acted upon in due time
6. Produce timely and accurate reports of the segment as appropriate

Qualifications :
Bachelor of Engineering (MBA degree an added advantage), fluent in English & Hindi
At least 5 years of marketing and sales experience.
Is a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Cohesive team-player, proactive thinker and initiative taker
