Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering located at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar I. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Engineering, prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures, and facilitate lab sessions aligned with the curriculum. Responsibilities include supervising student projects, guiding internships, mentoring students, and maintaining academic records and assessment reports. The role involves active participation in departmental meetings, curriculum development, accreditation-related activities, and collaboration with colleagues on academic initiatives. The Assistant Professor is expected to engage in research, publish scholarly work, seek funding opportunities, and contribute to the academic reputation of the department and institution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in areas such as Power Systems and Robotics.
- Knowledge of Computer Science concepts relevant to modern Electrical Engineering education and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct Research in Electrical Engineering or related interdisciplinary fields.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching or academic experience at the college or university level is preferred, with effective classroom and laboratory management skills.
- Ability to design course materials, utilize modern teaching aids, and integrate industry-relevant content and emerging technologies.
