Position Summary
We are looking for dynamic, research-oriented, and student-centric faculty members in the disciplines of Law, Economics, and Management. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, conducting research, and actively participating in academic and institutional development activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with consistently good academic record.
- NET Qualified OR Ph.D. Awarded in the relevant discipline (as applicable under UGC/BCI norms).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized university or higher education institution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Publications in UGC CARE, Scopus, or ABDC indexed journals.
- Experience in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NAAC, NBA, or academic accreditation processes.
- Experience in curriculum design and interdisciplinary teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the assigned discipline.
- Prepare lesson plans, course files, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, case discussions, and practical sessions.
- Evaluate students through assignments, presentations, projects, and examinations.
Research & Publications
- Undertake quality research leading to publications in reputed journals.
- Present papers at national and international conferences.
- Apply for research grants, consultancy projects, and funded initiatives.
- Guide student research projects and dissertations.
Academic Administration
- Participate in curriculum development and revision.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
- Assist in examination duties and evaluation processes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic planning.
Student Development
- Mentor students on academic, professional, and personal development.
- Guide students for moot courts, debates, research competitions, internships, and placements.
- Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Institutional Responsibilities
- Contribute to NAAC, NIRF, IQAC, and other quality initiatives.
- Organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and outreach programs.
- Build collaborations with academia, industry, government, and professional bodies.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Institute.
