Job Description

Job Summary**

The Assistant Officer, Cycle Count will be responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient execution of cycle counting activities within the warehouse and inventory management system. This role ensures inventory integrity and contributes to overall operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Perform daily cycle counts of designated inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies identified during cycle counts.
  • Document all cycle count findings, adjustments, and discrepancies accurately in the inventory management system.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, production teams, and other relevant departments to resolve inventory issues.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of cycle count processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the inventory areas.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar role, preferably with cycle counting experience.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required in a warehouse environment.
