Technical Skills - VMware (Vcenter + ESXI Host management) , Horizon Administration ( Connection Servers , Vcenters , App Volumes , Dynamic Environment manager , Knowledge on AD Management ), Vmware VSAN , Storage understanding ( Netapp & Dell) , VROPS Monitoring , Basic Understanding on WAN Network & Switch Troubleshooting ( Melanoix , Brocade Switches etc. ) Functional Skills - Customer Management, Stakeholder Management, Excellent communication skills ( Written & Verbal ), Incident & Escalation Management & Monitoring . Alternate Skills (Desired Skills) CCNA Knowledge , vSphere certified , Any Certification in Desktop Virtualisation , Monitoring under Whatsup gold and VRops Knowledge

Role Description

  • Will be a part of the voice 1st line team which operates 24x7 and takes care of the entire 1st level Troubleshooting for VDI Infrastructure.
  • Ability for troubleshooting Network Issues, VMware, Vsphere , Esxi Host issues . Familiar with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking concepts, vROPS,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing Windows Desktop OS.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in VMware vSphere.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in managing VMware Horizon or other VDI solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience is managing Incident management, vendor engagements, Service Desk Function
  • Team work is expected as SD has to work closely with resolving agencies for driving the incident
  • Have to be innovative as the team is customer facing and need to have Customer First Approach
  • Incident Management , 1st Line checks , Fault resolution.
  • 24/7 Customer & Escalation management
