Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Hard Rock Hotel Goa in Calangute. The Assistant Manager–Sales / Sales Executive (Reactive) is responsible for handling incoming sales inquiries, responding to leads, and managing reservations and group bookings. The role includes preparing proposals, following up with potential and existing clients, coordinating with operations and front office teams to ensure smooth guest experiences, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The individual will support revenue generation by converting enquiries, maintaining relationships with travel agents and corporate clients, and assisting in implementing sales promotions and packages. Regular tasks also include monitoring market trends, updating the CRM or sales databases, and ensuring all communication reflects the Hard Rock brand standards and service culture.
Qualifications
- Sales and client relationship skills, including handling reactive sales inquiries, lead conversion, and account management.
- Hospitality and customer service skills, with experience in hotels or resorts, guest interaction, and service recovery.
- Communication and negotiation skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and professional etiquette.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as maintaining records, using CRM or reservation systems, and preparing reports and proposals.
- Basic analytical and commercial awareness, including understanding of room rates, revenue targets, and market trends.
- Ability to work on-site in Calangute, collaborate with cross-functional hotel teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Relevant educational background in hospitality, business, or a related field; prior experience in hotel sales or front office is preferred.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations); familiarity with hotel PMS or sales systems is an advantage.
- Must be currently based in Goa.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel in Goa.
- Candidates who do not meet both criteria will not be considered.
