Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to drive the organization's Goal Setting (KPI) process, Talent Development Programs, Organizational Development (OD) initiatives, and HR Policy Formulation. This role is central to ensuring performance management processes run smoothly and on time across the organization, that goals are set in a SMART-compliant manner, and that talent and OD interventions support the company's broader people strategy.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with business unit HR teams, functional leaders, employees, and managers across the organization, as well as the L&D function, to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee performance and development experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end KPI/goal-setting cycle across the organization, including annual goal setting, mid-year reviews, and final/year-end reviews.
- Review and validate KPIs submitted by employees and managers to ensure they are SMART-compliant (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) and aligned with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Partner directly with employees and managers to guide, coach, and support them in drafting well-defined goals, not just enforce deadlines but improve the quality of goal setting across the organization.
- Track and drive adherence to the performance management calendar, ensuring all goal-setting, mid-year, and final review activities are completed within defined timelines.
- Send timely reminders, escalate delays, and report completion status/dashboards to HR leadership.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inconsistencies in the review process, including calibration support across teams.
- Continuously refine the KPI framework, templates, and guidelines based on feedback and evolving business needs.
- Design, implement, and manage talent development programs (e.g., high-potential programs, leadership development, succession planning inputs, mentoring programs).
- Liaise closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team to align talent development initiatives with identified skill and competency gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs and recommend improvements.
- Support career development conversations and frameworks in partnership with business unit Hrs.
- Support organizational design initiatives, including role clarity, org structure reviews, and workforce planning inputs.
- Drive initiatives around organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management in partnership with business leaders.
- Conduct diagnostic exercises (e.g., climate surveys, skills assessments) to identify OD needs and design targeted interventions.
- Draft, review, and update HR policies in line with business needs, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure policies are clearly communicated and consistently implemented across business units.
- Periodically benchmark policies against market practices and recommend revisions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Overall Experience: Minimum 10 years of overall HR experience.
- Specialized Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Goal Setting/KPI management and performance review processes.
- Demonstrated experience running or supporting Talent Development programs.
- Experience working with or closely alongside L&D teams.
- Exposure to Organizational Development and Policy Formulation will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple business units/BU HR teams strongly preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for policy drafting and communication.
- High attention to detail and process orientation.
- Proficiency in HRMS/Performance Management tools and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
