We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software
Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing test cases,
identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to
deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, specifications, and
technical design documents to identify test requirements.
Design, develop, and execute manual and/or
automated test cases.
Perform different types of testing such as
functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance
testing (UAT).
Identify, log, and track defects through to
resolution using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with developers, product managers,
and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
and retrospectives (Agile environment).
Prepare test reports and document test results
clearly and accurately.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA
processes and test automation frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3-6 years of experience in software testing
(manual and/or automation).
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with test management and defect
tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium,
Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter) is a plus.
Familiarity with API testing and SQL for data
validation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work
independently or in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
practices.
Exposure to cloud-based applications and mobile
testing.
