Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Taxation, specifically GST compliance and advisory. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in handling large data sets using MS Excel, and be experienced in managing end-to-end GST processes within an ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including return preparation, filing, and reconciliations.
- Provide support on indirect tax advisory matters, including impact analysis for business transactions.
- Handle monthly/quarterly/yearly filings, input/output reconciliations, and other statutory submissions.
- Maintain robust documentation for audit and departmental representations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external consultants, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
- Represent the company before tax authorities when required.
- Stay updated on evolving GST laws and their implications on the business.
Who Are We Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Indirect Taxation / GST domain
Key Skills:
- Strong command of GST laws, rules, and filing processes
- Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in handling large datasets
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially SAP (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage cross-functional interactions
- Comfortable with travelling for representations before tax authorities
Added Advantage:
- Prior experience in the Real Estate industry
- Exposure to Big 4 consulting firms
- Working knowledge of SAP GST modules
