Job Description

ndiGo is looking for a meticulous and driven Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting to join our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning and execution of our statutory audit processes and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. If you are a Chartered Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize all work related to statutory audits and financial reporting on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Possess the ability to carry out comprehensive analysis of financial statements for both domestic and international entities.
  • Prepare various dashboards to present financial insights to management effectively.
  • Prepare detailed schedules for audits, including financial statements, for quarterly and half-yearly results.
  • Execute quarterly and annual closing of books of accounts according to standard accounting procedures.
  • Conduct periodic scrutiny of the general ledger and balances to ensure that accounts accurately reflect the correct position of balances.
  • Review changes in legal, tax, accounting standards, and procedural requirements affecting auditing processes and financial reporting, specifically as per Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards) and SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) regulations.
  • Coordinate with staff for the timely completion of audit work.
  • Review audit work papers before submitting them to the auditor, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills for financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent proficiency in accounting procedures and standards, particularly Ind AS.
  • Ability to interpret and apply SEBI regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in creating management dashboards and reports.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage audit timelines.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for collaborating with auditors and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Excel.
