Position: Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

Qual.-B. Com/M. Com/MBA Finance, ATC (Accounting Technician Course)

Exp.-5 to 10 Yrs

Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take to

maintain the financial health of the organization.

2. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual

performance compared to the business plans.

3. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

4. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a

framework for these to be met.

5. Manage the preparation of the company's budget.

6. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is


7. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing

on future paths to be taken.


1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department like month and

end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger,

treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis,

capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset

activity, debt activity.

2. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

4. Coordinate and complete annual audits.

5. Provide recommendations.

6. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

7. Meet financial accounting objectives.

8. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
