Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

● Own the blog content pipeline — from topic ideation and keyword research to writing, editing, and publishing high-quality articles

● Write and edit blog posts that are well-researched, engaging, and optimized for both readers and search engines

● Apply on-page SEO best practices — title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, internal linking, keyword placement, content depth — to every piece of content

● Monitor content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc., and iterate based on data (rankings, traffic, CTR, engagement, conversions)

● Refresh and optimize existing content to improve rankings and reclaim lost traffic (content decay management)

● Map content to the funnel — ensure blogs are designed to drive not just traffic but qualified leads and revenue, with clear CTAs and conversion paths

● Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, design, product, and sales/revenue teams to align content with business priorities

● Manage freelance writers/editors if needed for scaling content output, while maintaining quality and voice consistency

What we're looking for:

● 3–5 years of experience in content marketing, SEO content, or blog writing, ideally in a B2C or B2B growth-driven environment

● Excellent writing skills — clear, engaging, well-structured content that's a pleasure to read

● Strong working knowledge of SEO and GEO — keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, content structuring for featured snippets/SERP features

● Strong understanding of AI tools and workflows — comfortable using AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, SEO AI plugins, etc.) to speed up research, ideation, drafting, and optimization, while knowing where human judgment, originality, and editing must take over to ensure quality and avoid generic, low-value content

● Proven track record of writing or managing content that has driven measurable organic traffic growth

● Comfort with data — able to read traffic/ranking reports and translate insights into content decisions and optimizations

● Understanding of how content ties to revenue — not just vanity metrics like pageviews, but leads, conversions, and downstream business impact

● Ability to work independently, manage multiple content pieces simultaneously, and meet deadlines
