Job Description

Job Summary

TargetEdge is a B2B creative agency delivering full-funnel marketing for enterprise clients across pharma, SaaS, financial services, and other complex industries. We are hiring an Assistant Creative Manager to partner content craft and drive campaign delivery from concept to execution.

This role functions as a hybrid between copy and design team and requires AI-native capabilities. This role entails working closely with project managers, strategists, and creative leads to keep content and design moving alongside everything else in a campaign.

This is ideal for someone who can understand complex information, write with clarity and accuracy, harness the power of AI to drive integrated campaign deliverables, and facilitate smooth internal communications to ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Write and adapt copy for LinkedIn, Google Search and Display, emailers, landing pages, websites, social media, brochures, presentations, and video scripts.
  • Simplify scientific, technical, product, and regulatory information without losing accuracy.
  • Develop campaign ideas, headlines, messaging routes, visual metaphors, and content extensions.
  • Adapt campaigns across audiences, funnel stages, platforms, and markets.
  • Work within platform character limits and campaign specifications.
  • Proofread for grammar, terminology, claims, formatting, consistency, and version accuracy.
  • Support basic layouts and presentations using Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and AI tools for design led execution.
  • Coordinate with design, account management, digital marketing, SEO, and other teams.
  • Track timelines, feedback, revisions, approvals, pending inputs, and final deliverables.
  • Maintain campaign decks, trackers, file naming, checklists, and version control.
  • Flag unclear briefs, contradictory feedback, unsupported claims, and execution risks early.

What we are looking for

  • 3–4 years of experience in copywriting, advertising, content, proven AI knowledge, and visual thinking.
  • Strong B2B writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to understand and simplify complex subject matter.
  • Strong conceptual and visual thinking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Ability to handle multiple deliverables and review rounds.
  • Comfortable working in a supporting role while independently owning assigned workstreams.
  • Working knowledge of basic design and presentation tools.
  • Pharma, healthcare, life-sciences, technical, or regulated-industry experience is preferred.

What success looks like

The person should be able to produce strong first drafts, manage routine campaign execution independently, maintain accuracy across assets, contribute useful ideas, and reduce the Creative Directors operational workload without compromising creative quality.

How we work with AI

TargetEdge Has Built Proprietary AI Systems Specifically For The Craft Of B2B Campaign Writing. You Will Be Trained On Them. We Expect

  • A worldview that AI is a partner, not a threat. AI amplifies capable writers; it does not replace them. If you believe that, this role will be one of the most leveraged of your career. If you don't, this is not the right place for you.
  • Use across the full creative process. AI as a thinking partner during concept development, a drafting partner during production, and an editing surface during refinement, not just a tool bolted onto the end.
  • Critical judgment. Knowing when AI output helps and when it hurts, and editing with intent until the work meets our standard.
  • Openness to build. You do not need an established AI workflow to apply. You need the disposition to build one with us.
