Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager for our Loan Against Property (LAP) division in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share in the assigned territory. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in sales management within the financial services sector.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for the LAP product in the Bangalore region
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed performance goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including building relationships with key partners and influencers
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members
- Collaborate with other departments to improve product offerings and customer experience
- Prepare and present periodic reports on sales performance, market conditions, and forecasts
- Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company's LAP products
- Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the financial services or mortgage industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Strong understanding of the LAP market and related financial products
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound business decisions
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required
