Job Title:
Cluster Manager/Area Manager – Retail
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Area Manager to oversee the performance,
operations, and management of multiple retail stores within a designated cluster or region. The
Cluster Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth, ensuring operational efficiency,
maintaining high customer satisfaction, and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Profitability:
• Achieve sales targets and profitability goals for all stores within the cluster.
• Analyze sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategic plans to
maximize revenue.
• Monitor and control cluster-level budgets, operating expenses, and P&L statements.
2. Operational Excellence:
• Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store
maintenance.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational consistency and address challenges
promptly.
3. Customer Experience:
• Drive a culture of excellent customer service across all stores.
• Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
• Monitor customer feedback and collaborate with store teams to address issues effectively.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and team members to achieve their potential.
• Provide regular performance feedback, conduct appraisals, and create growth plans for
employees.
• Build a strong, motivated team that works cohesively to achieve cluster objectives.
5. Performance Monitoring:
• Track and evaluate store performance metrics, including sales, inventory turnover, and
footfall conversion rates.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree , Retail Management, or a related field.
Experience:
• 9+ years of experience in retail management, with at least 2 years in a multi-store or cluster
management role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals.
Skills:
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the retail business.
