Overview:
Asmita Organic Farms is looking for a dynamic and self-driven Area Sales Executive cum Merchandiser to manage Modern Trade (MT) operations across the Delhi NCR region. The role involves ensuring product visibility, managing store relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding the company's footprint in key modern trade outlets
Key Responsibilities :
Store Visits & In-Store Management
- Visit all assigned Modern Trade (MT) and Semi-Modern Trade (SAMT) stores regularly.
- Ensure proper product display, shelf replenishment, and eye-level visibility as per brand standards.
- Monitor stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and coordinate with the supply chain/ distributors for timely replenishment.
- Ensure planogram compliance and maintain hygiene and presentation standards at the shelf level.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) from MT stores and ensure timely billing.
- Achieve monthly sales targets set by the company.
- Track sales performance of each outlet and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Execute in-store promotions, offers, sampling activities, and visibility drives to maximize sales.
Distributor & Outlet Development
- Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors to strengthen market presence.
- Open new MT/SAMT outlets and support the listing process including paperwork, product introductions, and compliance requirements.
- Build strong relationships with store managers, category buyers, and distributor teams.
Payments & Documentation
- Follow up on payments, outstanding invoices, and credit notes.
- Ensure documentation accuracy related to POs, deliveries, and merchandising activities.
- Maintain reports on store visits, sales achievements, and competitor activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 13 years in FMCG / Modern Trade sales or merchandising.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Must own a two-wheeler for daily store travel.
- Familiarity with Delhi NCR Modern Trade stores (Big Bazaar, Reliance, DMart, Spencer's, etc.) preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork.
