Architectural Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs into precise technical drawings.

Prepare both structural and architectural drawings for modular buildings, including framing layouts, connection details, panel drawings, and assembly plans.

Ensure all drawings follow modular construction standards, building codes, and project guidelines.

Revise and update drawings based on design changes, engineering inputs, and client feedback.

Assist in preparing construction documentation, BOQs, and presentation drawings.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to gather and verify design requirements.

Conduct site measurements and develop accurate as-built drawings.

Maintain drawing records, version control, and proper documentation throughout all project stages.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Architectural or Structural Draughtsman (experience in modular building sector is a strong advantage).

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting/modeling tools is preferred.

Strong understanding of architectural design principles, structural detailing, and modular construction methods.

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.

Excellent attention to detail, time-management, and documentation skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience with BIM tools (Revit/ArchiCAD).

Knowledge of modular building construction codes and standards.

Ability to create 3D visualizations and renderings.
