Architect

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architect located in Chandigarh, India. The Architect will be responsible for designing new buildings, restoring and conserving old buildings, and developing new ways of using existing buildings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and presenting project proposals, developing plans and specifications, managing project costs, supervising construction, and ensuring all projects comply with safety standards and regulations. Collaboration with clients, contractors, engineers, and local authorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural design, conceptual design, and 3D modeling
• Strong skills in project management, planning, and budgeting
• Knowledge of building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
• Professional certification and licensing as an architect
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
