Role Description
This role is within Market Risk function in Mumbai to focus on a number of activities across Market Risk Metric Production and Analysis, Data Quality and Reporting for individual asset classes within Deutsche Bank.
Your key responsibilities
The primary responsibilities will be around below areas:
Using DB's onboarded AI platforms to build use cases that will aid and enhance the existing Risk Analysis.
Risk Sensitivity validation and move analysis
Historical Simulation VaR analysis on daily basis. Review of other daily, weekly and monthly market risk metrics like SVaR, EC, FRTB, etc.
Analysis of weekly market data change on the portfolio
Backtesting VaR numbers and presenting outlier analysis to Market Risk Managers.
Participating in projects such as IBOR migration, automation of BAU activities using AI, migration of portfolios from legacy systems to strategic, etc.
Adhere to governance model and ensure KPIs remain in Green or reasons highlighted to senior management if KPIs trending towards Red.
Your skills and experience
Grad/post-grad degree.
Experience in using AI platforms such as Google Gemini or Microsoft Copilot to automate will be a big plus.
Qualified in a numerate discipline (Maths/Statistics) or MBA will be plus.
Good understanding of financial markets and products.
Good communication skills - ability to articulate and elaborate topics with global stakeholders
A reliable team player with the motivation to work in a dynamic, international and diverse environment.
A committed and motivated individual for self-development and growth
Keen interest in various risk frameworks and how they are interconnected for bank's capital
Basic experience in using large datasets with experience in relevant software packages, e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, and SQL. Experience with additional programming languages is a plus, e.g. Python.
Knowledge of coding in Python and SAS tool would be useful
Able to multi-task and deliver within deadlines
Able to work different shifts
