The Application Production Support role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production applications and providing support for any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be able to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently, and work closely with other teams to enhance application performance.
o Provide end-to-end production and application support across multi-tier environments, ensuring high availability and performance of business applications.
o Monitor application health and system performance using Dynatrace and Grafana, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
o Lead and manage bridge calls during critical incidents, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely resolution.
o Support upstream and downstream APIs, troubleshooting integration failures and ensuring smooth inter-system communication.
o Manage and monitor batch jobs and month-end processing cycles, addressing job failures and coordinating with dependent systems.
o Perform deployment validations and environment checks within OCP, application, and web servers, assisting in release and change management activities.
o Execute basic SQL queries to perform data validation, analyse logs, and generate operational statistics or ad-hoc reports.
o Document operational procedures, propose automation or monitoring enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
