Position Title:

Analyst / Sr. Analyst – Life Sciences

Educational Qualification:

  • MBA / M.Pharm / Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field
  • Relevant experience in Life Sciences and IT industry is required

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Analyst / Sr. Analyst – Life Sciences professional with strong experience in pre-sales, portfolio/project management (PPM), and life sciences domain knowledge. The role involves supporting RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, developing strategic solutions, and contributing to portfolio management initiatives across drug development and R&D functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality RFP/RFI/RFQ responses by analyzing client requirements and collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams to create proposals, demos, and proof-of-concepts for PPM and Life Sciences solutions
  • Define solution strategy, including approach, team structure, pricing models, and differentiators
  • Provide industry insights, benchmarking data, and competitive intelligence to strengthen proposals
  • Prepare client presentations, solution decks, and supporting collaterals
  • Deliver customized PPM tool demonstrations (Planisware, MS Project, Power BI, etc.)
  • Translate technical solutions into business value propositions for stakeholders
  • Support implementation of PPM frameworks including Stage-Gate processes, portfolio prioritization, and resource planning
  • Collaborate with PMO, IT, and Finance teams to align project financials, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Perform portfolio optimization, resource analysis, and capital planning
  • Design and support Power BI dashboards and KPI reports for executive decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory standards (FDA/EMA), and governance frameworks
  • Maintain effective communication across pre-sales, delivery, and client teams

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) concepts
  • Knowledge of Drug Development Lifecycle (Discovery to Launch)
  • Experience with Clinical Trials (Phase I–IV), CMC, Regulatory Affairs
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:
  • Planisware
  • Microsoft Project / Project Online
  • Smartsheet
  • Jira
  • SAP PPM
  • Oracle Primavera
  • Experience in Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Knowledge of GxP compliance and governance frameworks

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior pre-sales or consulting experience in Life Sciences or IT
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to connect business needs with technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
