The opportunity: Analyst-National-SaT-SaT - TCF - Valuation, Modeling & Economics - Mumbai.

Your key responsibilities:

Technical Excellence:

The successful candidate will have to work on assignments involving tangible fixed assets majorly including plant & machinery, factory buildings, land and other real/personal properties across the variety of industry sectors which may include estimation of values by conducting site visits and analyses of comparable assets / properties through market research, replacement cost analyses.

The responsibilities of the candidate includes:

  • Interact with clients and coordination with Client/Company/Third party representatives.
  • Conducting site visits and data collection.
  • Understanding relevant regulations, applicable taxation, building bye-laws, etc.
  • Read legal documents pertaining to land/real properties and technically evaluating buildings drawings, plant layouts etc on technical and regulatory parameters.
  • Analysing assumptions based on market parameters and past performance.
  • Interact with contractors/suppliers/vendors/OEMs and collect quotations for buildings and plant & machinery.
  • Analyse fixed assets register and comprehend balance sheet provided in MS Excel and identify material issues, which might impact the outputs of the valuation model.
  • Ability to prepare a detailed valuation model from scratch with strict deadlines.
  • Report writing.
  • Managing reviews with the Managers and Partners.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities.
  • Understand the concept of risk management and bring to focus risk issues on client assignments and take issues to the notice of the manager/supervisor.
  • Begin to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to manager.
  • Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients.

Skills and attributes:

To qualify for the role you must have:


Required Qualification:Land & Building Valuation, Degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building Science/Quantity Surveying along with MBA (Finance/Real Estate) / PGP (Construction Management) / PGDM / Master's degree (Real Estate Valuation/Estate Management) preferred

Required Qualification-Plant & Machinery Valuation -Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering along with MBA (Finance) / PGP / PGDM / Master's degree (Valuation) preferred.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • High team orientation.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong valuation modelling skills.
  • Should be very conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Significant amount of initiative.
  • Experience of tangible fixed assets/capital equipment valuation.
