Responsibilities

The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the accounting, operations, and reporting functions for Oaktree's Employee Investment Fund (EIF), Long-Term Incentive (LTI), and Citi Loan Program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary system processor for EIF and LTI month-end close and valuation processes across Geneva, Geneva World Investors (GWI), and the GWI custom reporting platform.
  • Manage end-to-end processing of Citi and Corporate employee loan activities for inclusion in investors quarterly capital activity settlement statements.
  • Perform daily cash and ledger reconciliations for EIF Onshore and Cayman accounts.
  • Process and reconcile investor capital activities.
  • Record profit and loss journal entries and allocate investor earnings.
  • Prepare monthly NAV packages and quarter-end performance metrics.
  • Compile quarter-end investor and consolidated financial statements.
  • Prepare quarterly capital activity settlement statements.
  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Coordinate and compile PBC request items for the EIF annual audit with Ernst & Young.
  • Submit monthly TIC-S filings to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Process capital transactions related to Long Term Incentive (LTI) programs, including new award subscriptions, quarterly income distributions, annual vesting payments, and forfeiture or acceleration events due to departures.
  • Prepare monthly LTI fund-level performance reports, partner allocations, and performance analytics.
  • Update monthly performance data to GWI Central for each LTI fund, ensuring accurate employee LTI distribution statements.
  • Generate and prepare individual LTI statements for employees, including a comprehensive team review of the full statement population.
  • Roll forward and update communication materials.
  • Participate in automation initiatives and continuous process improvements for key deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to streamline workflows and automate manual reporting.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of analytical experience within a professional firm
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
  • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor or similar accounting systems is a plus
