About the Role
We are seeking an AI FinOps Analyst to design, build, and support cost visibility and optimization across AI models, GPUs, APIs, and cloud AI services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business, data, engineering, and finance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and measurable AI solutions while maximizing cost efficiency and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze costs associated with AI models, GPUs, cloud infrastructure, and API consumption.
- Develop cost optimization strategies for Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI applications, and AI infrastructure.
- Analyze token consumption and implement token optimization techniques to improve AI application efficiency.
- Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into AI infrastructure spending and resource utilization.
- Develop forecasting models for AI workloads, cloud services, GPU usage, and operational costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through infrastructure optimization, model selection, caching, batching, and workload scheduling.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, platform teams, cloud architects, finance teams, and business stakeholders to optimize AI investments.
- Monitor cloud AI services and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Support budgeting, capacity planning, and FinOps governance initiatives.
- Document cost management processes, optimization strategies, and operational best practices.
Required Skills
- Experience with cloud cost management
- Understanding of token economics and AI API consumption models
- Experience developing cost dashboards and analytics reports
- Knowledge of forecasting and capacity planning
- Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies for AI infrastructure
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Python is preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience Requirements
- Up to 5 years of overall experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, AI infrastructure, cloud operations, or related technologies
