About The Role
Dashverse is looking for an AI Filmmaker who thinks like a director and builds like a creative technologist. In the world of AI-driven micro dramas, you will turn scripts into shot-ready footage using generative video and image
tools — while also shaping the prompts, templates, and lightweight agents/skills that make the whole pipeline faster and more consistent.
This role sits at the intersection of craft and tooling: strong visual storytelling instincts, paired with genuine curiosity about how AI agents and skills can be built or refined to remove repetitive work from the creative process.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct & Generate: Turn scripts and shot breakdowns into finished AI-generated footage using tools like Seedance, Nano Banana, and Frameo.
- Prompt Craft: Write and refine detailed generation prompts — staging, camera position, continuity, palette — to hit the visual bar consistently across a show.
- Build Agentic Skills: Develop and maintain reusable prompt templates, scripts, and small AI agents/skills that automate repeatable steps in the pipeline (e.g. scene extraction, staging, promo hooks).
- Continuity & Craft: Maintain character, location, and style consistency across shots and episodes using reference libraries and appearance bibles.
- Iterate & Troubleshoot: Diagnose generation failures — artifacts, inconsistency, broken motion — and iterate on prompts or workflows until the output holds up
- Collaborate: Work closely with Creative Producers, Editors, and Sound Engineers to keep footage moving through the pipeline on schedule.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI generative video/image tools (e.g. Seedance, Runway, Midjourney, Nano Banana, Sora) or a strong portfolio of AI-generated visual work
- Genuine comfort with prompt engineering, and curiosity for building small tools, scripts, or agents/skills that make the workflow faster (basic scripting ability — Python, JS, or similar — is a strong plus).
- Strong eye for cinematography, staging, continuity, and visual storytelling.
- Exposure to creative-technologist tooling (ComfyUI, custom GPTs, Claude Skills, workflow automation) is a strong plus.
- Ability to move fast on tight timelines without letting craft slip
- Comfortable giving and receiving direct creative feedback in a fast-iterating team
Engagement Structure & Career Path
- Months 1–3: Initial setup phase compensated per productive minute of finalized content to calibrate quality and workflow speed.
- Post 3 Months: Transition to a full-time contractual role with regular monthly compensation, contingent on performance.
