Role description
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and services.


  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and backend services.

  • Develop reusable UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.

  • Configure and manage content authoring experiences for business users.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and defect remediation.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.


  • Design and maintain deployment pipelines for application deployments.


  • Support releases, and production issue resolution.


  • Ensure compliance with Disney coding standards, accessibility, SEO, and security requirements.


  • Build and maintain SRE monitoring s and dashboards.


  • Manage cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.


Required Skills

  • Total experience required 10-14 years. 


  • Strong experience with  AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

  • Proficiency in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Apache Felix.

  • Experience with HTL/Sightly, JSP, Servlets, and REST APIs.

  • Front-end development experience (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).


  • Familiarity with Git, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Adobe Dispatcher and caching strategies.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.


  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.


  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Launch, or Target.


  • Experience with site performance optimization.


  • Should have Adobe certifications.


Nice to have

  • Experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
