The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Ad Sales professional to lead revenue-generating relationships with brands and agency partners. You will sell integrated campaigns digital ads, content sponsorships, on-ground branding and activations and own end-to-end delivery and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own direct sales to brand marketers and agencies for digital advertising, sponsorships, and on-ground activations.
- Develop and close integrated campaign proposals combining in-app/website inventory, social/content, email, and on-ground branding/activation opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of strategic partners and agency relationships; lead negotiations and contract sign-off.
- Create sharp commercial proposals, media plans, rate cards, and decks that align Playo inventory to brand objectives.
- Coordinate campaign delivery cross-functionally product, marketing, events, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
- Track campaign performance and deliverables; own reporting, reconciliation and post-campaign learnings.
- Drive revenue forecasting, monthly/quarterly targets, and deal reporting.
- Identify new ad solutions and packaging to increase monetization and AOV.
- Represent Playo at industry events and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- 46 years experience in ad sales / partnerships / sponsorships with a track record selling digital campaigns and on-ground branding/activations.
- Proven experience selling directly to brands and via agency teams (media/activation/creative agencies).
- Strong commercial instincts: pricing, negotiation, deal structuring, and revenue forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end campaign delivery and resolving operational issues.
- Excellent presentation, written proposal and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), spreadsheets and basic analytics to measure campaign KPIs.
- Results oriented with ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and events as required.
- Experience in consumer platforms, sports, events, or lifestyle categories.
- Background running on-ground activations, experiential marketing or field ops.
- Familiarity with programmatic/dsp inventory, in-app ad formats, and influencer/content partnerships.
- Existing relationships with brand/agency contacts in sports, FMCG, or lifestyle verticals.
