Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the company's financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, managing cash flow, supervising the accounts team, and supporting strategic financial planning. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as SAP B1.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Manage and oversee the organization's daily financial operations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Supervise accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment to vendors.
- Manage cash flow and banking activities efficiently.
Financial Reporting
- Generate MIS reports, financial reports, and performance analysis for management.
- Present financial information to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
Vendor & Client Coordination
- Manage relationships with vendors, clients, banks, and auditors.
- Resolve financial discrepancies and negotiate payment terms when required.
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Support management in financial planning and cost optimization initiatives.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
- CA Inter / CMA qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum [X] years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations and team management.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP B1.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
