Accounts Executive

Location: Chennai (Porur)

Reporting to: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions, support financial reporting, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Maintain and update books of accounts (Tally/ERP)
• Process vendor payments and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements
• Generate GST invoices and file returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.)
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Support in audits and maintain compliance documentation
• Manage petty cash, expense reimbursements, and payroll coordination
• Maintain proper documentation of bills, vouchers, and ledgers

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
