We are inviting motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Accounts Interns. This role is ideal for commerce graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a CMA certification. You will gain hands-on exposure to core finance functions including accounting operations, credit control, invoicing, cash flow management, and MIS reporting, an excellent foundation for a career in finance, with the opportunity for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
• Update Tally with daily accounting entries and ensure accuracy of the books of accounts.
• Prepare payment vouchers with proper supporting documentation.
• Release vendor purchase orders after due approval.
Invoice Preparation & Receivables
• Prepare and issue sales invoices accurately and on time, in line with billing requirements and applicable
GST provisions.
• Maintain and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) statements.
Credit Control
• Monitor customer credit limits and outstanding balances; prepare debtor ageing reports.
• Follow up with customers for timely collections and escalate overdue accounts.
• Assist in evaluating customer creditworthiness and minimizing bad-debt exposure.
Cash Flow Management
• Prepare payment projection reports and assist in daily/weekly/monthly cash flow forecasting.
• Track fund inflows and outflows to ensure timely vendor payments and healthy working capital.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring of bank balances.
MIS & Reporting
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and variance analysis for management review.
• Support data handling and preparation of dashboards for key financial metrics.
Statutory Compliance
• Assist in GST, TDS, PF, and ESI computations, filings, and related documentation.
• Support internal and statutory audit requirements as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• B.Com (Regular) with 80%+ throughout academics; preference for Delhi University graduates.
• CMA certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel; strong skills in data handling and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, GST/TDS basics, and receivables management.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for stakeholder coordination.
• High attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines.
