We are seeking an experienced
Accounting Engine Solution Consultant with a strong finance and accounting background and hands-on experience in accounting engines such as
Oracle Accounting Hub or
Aptitude Accounting Engine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing accounting logic, defining data flows, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and multi-GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build accounting engine components using Aptitude Accounting Engine or Oracle Accounting Hub.
- Translate business and finance requirements into detailed functional and technical designs.
- Define and validate source data structures, transformation rules, and mapping logic.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries through robust reconciliation processes.
- Support integration of Aptitude/Accounting Hub with Oracle General Ledger and other financial systems.
- Collaborate with finance, product, and technical teams to ensure the accounting design meets compliance standards (IFRS, multi-GAAP).
- Provide guidance on accounting practices and help enforce governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
- Troubleshoot accounting discrepancies and support UAT cycles.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
- Experience designing or implementing Accounting Engines (Aptitude Accounting Engine, Oracle Accounting Hub, or similar).
- Ability to convert finance/business requirements into clear technical design specifications.
- Knowledge of multi-GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Understanding of table structures, data transformations, and reconciliation logic.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with the Aptitude Accounting Engine (AAE).
- Exposure to Oracle General Ledger and upstream financial systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
