Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative business environment.
KRA: Task / Activities
- Maintain daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Expenses)
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Maintain invoices, bills, and financial records
- Handle payroll processing (if applicable)
- Assist in financial reporting and MIS preparation
- Coordinate with CA for audits and filings
- Track expenses and support budgeting activities
KPI: Performance Metrics
- Accuracy of financial records (error-free entries)
- Timely GST filing and statutory compliance
- Monthly closing within deadlines
- Vendor & client payment cycle efficiency
- Audit readiness and documentation quality
- MIS report submission timeliness
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / similar tools
- GST, TDS, and basic compliance knowledge
- MS Excel proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience in creative/media/design agency
- Knowledge of financial reporting & MIS
- Basic payroll handling experience
